FAQ's

Why hire a documentary wedding photographer?

Because your wedding deserves to be remembered just how it felt. I don’t want stiff smiles or staged moments. I want the laughs, the quiet glances, the chaos, the love, the in-between. I’m like your invisible friend with a camera. I catch what matters, without asking you to perform.

How long have you been doing this?

Since I was a kid. I started taking pictures at 14, and every year since I’ve learned more about catching real emotion, not just smiling faces.

Do you shoot video too?

No, I don’t shoot video but I know people who do, and I’m happy to recommend them if you want a film alongside your photos. For me, stills are what I know best, and that’s what I stick to.

What’s the pre-wedding shoot about?

It’s more than a “warm-up.” It’s trust, laughter, discovering how you two look through my lens when you’re just being you. We hang out, wander, talk without pressure. By your wedding day, the camera feels like a friend.

Will the photos look “Instagram-ready” or cliché?

Not my style. I don’t chase trends or viral aesthetics. I capture truth. I capture emotion. I capture real life so your photos age with you, not the feed.

Do you blend into the wedding or do you take control?

I blend in. I’m present when needed, invisible when not. No barking orders, no interrupting moments.

Your wedding is not my stage, I’m just there to witness and document.

Do you stay for the party?

Absolutely. Dance floor photos are some of my favourites with pure, messy, unfiltered joy.

That’s when everyone drops their guard and the truth takes over.

Will there be any posed photos?

Yes but only where it counts. Family shots, a few portraits, group photos: those are fine and useful. But mostly, I’m after the unscripted. The messy, spontaneous, in-the-moment stuff. That’s where the real story lives.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely. Based in Cyprus, always passport-ready. Whether your wedding is local or somewhere far off, if your love story needs me, I’ll find a way to be there.

When should we book?

As early as possible. Good love stories (and good dates) don’t wait. Summer weekends and peak seasons disappear fast. If you can lock things in 12–18 months ahead, that’s ideal.

Do you have a question?

Vix ut utinam feugait. Eu scribentur liberavisse nec. Dico fugit nostro cu pri, no putent nemore mel, ius at minim molestiae

Do we need to be “good” in front of the camera?

Not at all. Most couples tell me they’re awkward, shy, or “not photogenic.”
Here’s the truth: you don’t need to perform for me.
I’ll guide you when needed, but mostly I let the day breathe.
If you can laugh, hug, talk, move, or simply exist, that’s enough.

Can we request “Pinterest shots”?

If something is meaningful to you then yes. If it’s trendy for trend’s sake probably not.

I don’t recreate photos. I create yours.

What I Don't Do

I Don’t Stage Your Day

Your wedding is not a photoshoot. I won’t script moments, interrupt emotions, or ask you to repeat anything “for the camera.”

I Don’t Force Poses

No awkward instructions or cheesy setups. If it doesn’t feel natural to you, it doesn’t happen.

I Don’t Create Pinterest Copycats

You deserve your own story, not a recycled version of someone else’s. Inspiration is welcome, imitation isn’t.

I Don’t Interrupt Moments

If you’re laughing, crying, hugging, dancing, I let it unfold. Real moments shouldn’t be paused for a better angle.

I Don’t Overcomplicate Things

Simple direction, natural movement, zero stress. The best photos come when you feel comfortable, not controlled.

I Don’t Change My Colors or Edit Style

My color grading is part of my identity as an artist. The tones, the depth, the way the light feels. It’s the foundation of every photo you see in my portfolio. If you choose me, you’re choosing that style. It’s not up for debate, adjustment, or re-editing.

I won’t make the photos brighter, trendier, more saturated, more “Instagram,” or anything outside my look.

I Don’t Chase Trends

Your photos should outlive Instagram styles. No viral filters or gimmicks, just honest, timeless storytelling.

I Don’t Retouch You Into Someone Else

I fix distractions, not identities. You are enough exactly as you are

I Don’t Make Your Wedding About Me

This isn’t my stage. I blend into your day, document quietly, and never take over the timeline.

I Don’t Deliver Everything I Shoot

I curate intentionally. You receive the moments that matter, the meaningful frames, not the duplicates.
